Description:
Alvin K. Marshall is a well renowned artist known for his sculptures of Indian figures. This sculpture is constructed out of granite of a slender Native American female depiction standing 38 1/2 inches tall on a varnished wooden base. She wears a full length wrap with polished 5 inch top and bottom line patterns with an image of a single ear of corn chiseled at the bottom. The face is polished with unpolished hair. Marked Alvin K. Marshall on the base of the statue.
