This example has beautiful engraved game scenes on the sides and bottom of the receiver. The left side is engraved with a woodcock in flight with rolling hills in the background and a tree to the right. The right side is engraved with a partridge about to take flight. The bottom is engraved with a goose in flight with a marsh scene in the background. There is also floral scroll engraving covering most of the remainder of the receiver, on the trigger guard, break lever, safety and forearm hardware. The receiver is signed on the lower tang "Badillini". The barrels have a white bead front sight, with ejectors. Both bores are stamped "18.4" and gauge mod/imp mod. And the date code is "BM" for 1999. Single trigger and an external selector switch. Mounted on a beautifully figured, multi-point checkered English walnut beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Measurements - Choke: improved modified/modified, Chamber Length: 2 3/4 inches, Length of Pull: 14 3/8 inches, Drop at Comb: 1 1/2 inches, Drop at Heel: 2 inches, Cast: neutral, Toe: out 1/2 inch, Overall Weight: 8 pounds 4.2 ounces. Also included with the shotgun is a Teague marked case with three additional choke tubes (skeet, improved modified, and full) and a tool. The serial number is marked on each tube and the case.
