The included factory letter identifies this one of a kind Colt as "a prototype for the European Model Limited Edition, which is a Colt offering for 1991." The letter also confirms the configuration including the unusual 9mm chambering, smooth rosewood grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions, "Class 'A' Germanic style engraving executed by Colt Master Engraver, Dennis Kies", bullseye ejector rod head, and the walnut presentation case with "Rhumba red velvet lining." The revolver was sold at The Colt 1991 Las Vegas Gun Show. Included is a Colt Custom Shop blue box and sleeve with matching label along with a matching hand marked shipping box.

Near new with only faint handling/storage type marks. The cylinder has some slight drag lines. The case and boxes are excellent with only minor handling/storage marks whereas the Custom Shop shipping sleeve has a partially loose end label. An all around excellent and unique Colt!
