Most likely French (and is very similar to a Boutet in form). The rifled barrel has a blade front sight. There are no visible markings. The lock plate screw escutcheons are engraved mythical creature heads. A bird is engraved on the trigger guard, which has a pineapple engraved finial. The full length stock features silver pierce studded checkering on the grip area, an octagon shaped flared butt and dog engraved grip cap.

Good. The pistol has a smooth brown-gray patina. There is some very light flash type pitting. The stock is excellent with a couple spots of chipping around the lock plate and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
