This is a rare like new H&K SL8-1 rifle as manufactured circa 1998. These rifles were a sporterized version of original, full automatic, H&K G36 rifle, intended as the next generation of rifle after the H&K 93. They featured a steel barrel, bolt and bolt carrier with a fully enclosed synthetic outer chassis. The left side of the receiver and trigger group have the full, Heckler & Koch factory markings, caliber and model number. These rifles use a short-stroke piston system with a round, rotating, multi-lugged bolt similar to the AR-15. These rifles have a ambidextrous cocking handling on top of the receiver, and it is fitted with a long carrying handle with a Picatinny rail type system on top of the handle for mounting scopes. Fitted with a shrouded rail mounted front post, and fully adjustable two aperture rear sights. Box is original numbered to the gun with one 10 round polymer magazine, cable lock, sling, H&K tool set and papers.

Near new in box with only minimal handling marks. Box is very good. Mechanically excellent.
