Manufactured in early 1944. The barrel is marked "INLAND MFG. DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/1-44". Has a first style barrel band, a shallow groove two rivet handguard, a straight faced slide, a flat bolt, a two position flip rear sight, an unmodified magazine release and a push button safety. Mounted on a low wood walnut stock with a crossed cannon cartouche on the right side and "IO" stamped in the sling cutout. With a green web sling.
Arsenal refurbished, then restored, 95% of the parkerized finish remains with some thinning along the barrel, some areas of brown patina on the receiver and some cycling wear. The sanded and reoiled stock is fine with scattered dings, scratches and a couple areas of sanding where the finish is absent. Mechanically excellent.
