Manufactured in 1908. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the caliber designation with the address and patent date in two lines between the barrel band and the rear sight. The top of the barrel and receiver are marked with the Winchester oval proof at the breech. The upper tang is marked "MODEL 1892/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK" and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It features a blade front sight on a stud with an adjustable buck horn rear sight, full length magazine, saddle ring on the left side rear of the receiver, and mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.

Poor. The rifle retains traces of the blue finish with some refinished areas present around the breech and rear sight on barrel as well as around the magazine ferrule. The frame has some blue finish near the saddle ring and on the loading gate with an otherwise mottled brown patina on the frame and buttplate. There are some marks, scratches, and dings throughout with some light pitting. Revarnished wood, with a non-factory replaced buttstock with minor marks and dings. Mechanically fine.
