Measuring 12 inches long, the horn has black and brown accents, and a brown painted wood base cap, a transition from round to octagonal towards the tip, a hardwood plug and a cord hanger. The octagonal section is decorated with 3 fish, a "LW" monogram and the date "1779" while the round section is decorated with an abstract map of New York with New York City and the "North River" (also known as the Hudson River) at the bottom, and most of the area dedicated to the Mohawk River and the Northernmost area of the Hudson with Albany at the junction of the two rivers, a compass rose with a sun's face, and the English Royal Coat of Arms.
Very good with some mild handling marks overall. Some of the base cap paint has flaked off.
