Fine. The barrel and magazine retain 80% original blue finish with thinning to a plum patina. The receiver has a smooth dark brown patina with scattered traces of original blue finish. The lever and buttplate have a smooth dark patina. The wood is very fine with a small shallow chip on the left side at the receiver, and overall a few minor dents and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
