The lock plates, receiver, break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware have extensive tight floral scroll engraving. The lock plates are engraved "ARMY & NAVY C.S.L." and have a "step" at the rear. The rib is engraved "ARMY & NAVY C.S.L. LONDON.". The barrels are choked .005/.022 and have lengthened 2 3/4 inch chambers with long forcing cones and an extractor. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with checkered bare butt. Length of pull is 14 3/4 inches.

Very good as professionally refinished, The barrels and trigger guard/lower tang retain 99% of the high quality blue finish with some scattered minor scratches and some scattered minor pitting under the finish. The casehardened components retain strong traces of the original case colors with a mostly smooth silvery gray patina overall. There is moderate pitting on the forearm knuckle. The wood is very fine as refinished with scattered minor scratches and dings along with a few deeper dings. Mechanically excellent.
