An engraved military/patriotic motif is engraved on the frame sides. The right side of the frame also has "LONDON" marked inside an oval and the left side of the frame has a blank oval. The screw on barrel is rifled and features an engraved band at the breech. The area ahead of the trigger guard is stamped with a "crown/GP" proof and a "crown/V" proof. A floral blossom is engraved on the trigger guard. The action has a sliding safety. The one piece grip features a silver wire inlaid pattern and a silver cap with hallmarks on the butt. The pistol is likely from the late 18th century.

Good. The pistol has a bright appearance with some light pitting. The grip is very good with much of the inlay remaining and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
