These interesting revolvers were manufactured in the 1880s with the total production estimated at several hundred. The matching serial number "1606" is stamped on the frame under the grips, on the back of the cylinder and on the back of the barrels. Has a blade front sight. The top barrel is .22 caliber and the bottom barrel is 32 caliber. The 9 shot .22 RF cylinder rotates around the .32 RF single shot barrel. The firing pin on the hammer can be placed in the upper or lower position to choose the firing method. Fitted with a set of smooth rosewood grips.
Fine, 60% of the original nickel plated finish remains with scattered scratches and dings along with loss along the sides of the barrels. The undersized refinished grips are very good with two notches/chips missing from each one. Mechanically fine but sometimes the cylinder does not fully lock in place.
