Description:
Manufactured in 1951. Ramp front sight (without provisions for a hood), raised two adjustable leaf rear sights and Leupold M8-4x scope. Jewelled bolt and extractor (no visible number on bolt) and engraved bolt knob. Late safety and straight receiver tang. Nicely figured professionally made custom straight comb pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, skeletonized grip cap and solid Pachmayr recoil pad.
Rating Definition:
Very fine as professionally customized. The rifle retains 99% plus of the blue finish with a few very scattered minor handling marks and a scuff at the muzzle. The stock has a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
