Blade front and notch rear sights with the left side of the slide bearing the Walther banner, 2-line address and caliber marking, and "Mod.PPK", with a ring hammer, smooth trigger, "crown/N" commercial proofs on the right side of the slide and chamber, and checkered wraparound Walther grips with matching magazine base extension. On the front strap is the marking "R.F.V. 199 KW", a marking associated with the Nazi Reichs Finance Ministry. PPKs and similar compact pistols were issued to the RFV's plain clothed agents who acted as detectives and investigators.
Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing spots of gray patina around the muzzle, a few patches of pitting on the right side of the slide near and behind the ejection port, and scattered edge wear and handling marks. The grip is fine, with some barely noticeable hairline cracks. Mechanically excellent.
