Description:Manufactured in 1921, this model was the second pocket automatic Colt manufactured and another of John Browning's designs. It developed into one of Colt's most successful pistols. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address/1897 and 1903 patent dates with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations and the right side is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS". The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame. Fixed sights, blue finish including the barrel with bright chamber, two tone magazine marked "CAL. 32/COLT" on the bottom and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Complete with the original maroon hinged lid box numbered to the gun, with the blue and white end label, hanging tag and instructions.
Rating Definition:Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish with some wear on the muzzle end of the slide and high edges, as well as some minor scratches. The grips are also excellent with some mild wear, a few light bruises and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically fine. The box is good with the label end piece separated at one corner, a small separation on one corner of the lid, and some minor corner and edge wear.
