This example was manufactured in 1977 and has the standard fixed front sight and a fully adjustable Elliason rear sight. At some point in it's life it has been almost completely covered with high quality floral scroll and rose bouquet engraving. The slide stop and safety are also engraved. It is signed on the left side of the back strap "R. Pirosin Enger. 1-86". The lettering on both sides of the slide have an oval section around them that is un-engraved and there is gold wire inlaid into the lettering. Fitted with a set of smooth pearl grips with gold Colt medallions. With a Colt Styrofoam insert.

Near mint. Professionally custom embellished, the engraving remains sharp and extremely detailed with a blue finish in the recessed areas, grip straps, small components and top of slide with the high edges bright. Nearly all of the gold remains. The grips are both excellent. Mechanically fine. An example of excellent engraving!
