Description:
The flask measures 8 3/4 inches long with a brown lacquer finish and double face design. The design is a military motif with flags, spears and artillery pieces. Below this design is crossed long guns above crossed handguns. At the base is "COLT PATENT" in a band. Triangular carrying rings are positioned on the sides near the base. The plunger is marked "35/GRS" and the ball compartment is marked "COLTS PATENT" in an oval.
Rating Definition:
Fine. The flask retains 40% original dark brown lacquer with the balance an attractive aged patina. The top retains 50% gold.
