"U.S./ordnance bomb" directly behind the hammer and the three line Winchester trade mark on the upper tang. Mounted with a smooth full walnut forearm with finger grooves and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate and sling swivels.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The musket retains 85% original blue finish concentrated mainly on the receiver, showing a smooth brown patina on the barrels with strong original blue in the protected areas. The receiver shows some minor pitting, edge wear and a few minor dings and scratches. The refinished wood is fine showing a few scattered minor dents and dings. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
