Manufactured in 1970. One line address on top of the barrel, "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the left side and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame and on the left side of the grip straps under the grip. Matching assembly number "164" on the right rear of the frame and on the loading gate. Blue finish with casehardened frame, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with black checkered Rampant Colt/American eagle relief grips with "854" on the inside of each panel. Complete with a Colt Stagecoach box.
Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish with a few small light scratches on the barrel and cylinder, as well as a very faint cylinder drag line. There are a few minor dings on the front strap. The frame retains 99% original vivid case colors. The grips are as new. Sharp markings. The action is excellent. The box is near excellent with some minor corner and edge wear.
