Elevation adjustable front blade sight and windage adjustable rear sight and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions. Very good. The revolver retains 80% original blue finish with some muzzle and edge wear, a drag line on the cylinder and a smooth gray patina on the grip straps and some thinning to gray on the trigger guard. The grips are good with some light to moderate wear, a few minor handling marks and prominent checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The box is very good plus with intact labels, a separated corner on the the lid and some corner and edge wear.
Manufactured in 1937. Slide has two line address/patent dates with the Rampant Colt behind serrations on left side and two line caliber designation onright. Fixed sights with early rounded rear sight and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions.
Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish with some edge wear, a small amount of light spotting on the front strap and grip safety, and overall a few minor scratches and dings. The grips are also excellent with a couple of light bruises in the otherwise sharp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
