Description:Manufactured circa 1857 to 1860 with a total production of about 11,671. Standard one line address on top of the barrel rib. Patent marking on the cylinder and serial number on the butt. Blade front and notch rear sights, finished silver and fitted with smooth rosewood grips.
Rating Definition:Very fine. The revolver retains 95% original silver finish on the frame. The barrel shows an old period refinished silver plating which has darkened with age. The grips are fine with 98% original varnish remaining and showing some lower edge wear, and overall scattered minor dings and dents.
