Description:
Both knives are etched "Waidmannsheil" (huntsmans greeting, or good hunting) on the left side of the 12 3/4 inch blade, with a hunting scene on the reverse and makers mark on the ricasso, a brass hilt, stag horn grips, and brass fitted leather scabbard with a leather frog. 1) 18 inches overall, hoof shaped guard quillions and a boars-head pommel. 2) 17 3/4 inches overall, with acorn and hoof quillions and an eagle head pommel.
