Dated "42" on chamber and "byf" code on toggle, with "eagle/135" and "eagle/swastika" proofs and "P.08" on left side of frame. Visible numbers are matching, except the magazine and the side plate which has been refinished/restamped. The blue magazine is marked "122" and "eagle/37", with aluminum base numbered "9129/m" and fitted with un-numbered walnut grips stamped "S42" on the inside and "eagle/63" on the right panel as well.
Fine as partially refinished with 75% blue finish overall, with wear, thinning and minor pitting on the center section of the barrel, with an old cold blue finish on the grip straps, muzzle area and side plate, some high edge wear and some thinning on the back strap. The grips are very good with a chip of wood absent under the safety lever, scattered minor dings and dents, and distinct checkering. The markings are clear. The hold open does not function, otherwise the action is fine.
