Description:This is an example of the Steyr-Roth Model 1907 semi-automatic pistol as adopted by the Austrian Army, however this one was produced at the FEG factory in Budapest Hungary. This specific example is even rarer in that it carries Austrian acceptance marks. These pistols were one of the very first fully successful semi-automatic military pistols adopted by the Austrian Army and featured a unique internal magazine that was loaded through the top of the slide via stripper clips. The top rib on the barrel is marked "FEGYVERGYA'R BUDAPEST", with the serial number (30472) located on the right side of the frame. The rear section of the frame has the Austrian Army acceptance proofs of "W.n/Austrian Eagle/13". It has standard serrated grip panels with the right one have a small unit disc inset into it that is marked: "I R 16/124".
Rating Definition:Near mint as professionally restored with 99% of a beautiful rust blued finish overall, with clear sharp markings and proofs. The grips are in excellent condition with no handling marks or dings anywhere. A very rare and very scarce Hungarian/FEG produced, Roth model 1907 semi-automatic pistol.
