This a very nice example of an original mid-1943 production Remington-Rand M1911A1 pistol. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address and "P" on top just ahead of the rear sight. The right side of the frame is stamped with a Ordnance Corps cartouche behind the grips. The frame is also marked with the standard U.S. markings, as well as "FJA" and "P". Blue barrel with "P" and "F" marked lug, blue magazine and fitted with Keyes Fibre grips with the narrow reinforcement ring around the screw holes.
Very fine with 97% dulite finish showing a few minor scratches and minor sharp edge wear. The grips are excellent showing very light handling. Mechanically excellent. The barrel is a polished replacement.
