Description:

This lot consists of a matching pair of percussion pistols. The rifled Damascus barrel has "DAMAS TURC" gold inlaid on the top flat towards the breech. A scroll engraved pattern appears on the hammer, lock plate, barrel tang, barrel plug, grip cap, and spur trigger. The single trigger is a set trigger and the sights are blade front and notch rear. The stock features fluting in the grip area and a craved scroll pattern along the back of the grip area and on the tip of the forearm.

Rating Definition:

Good. The pistol has a smooth gray patina overall with a mottled gray patina on the trigger guard. Most of the Damascus pattern remains and the engraving is clear. The refinished stock is fair as repaired with some scattered minor handling marks.

Good. Overall the pistol has a smooth gray patina with a mottled gray patina on the trigger guard. Most of the Damascus pattern remains and the engraving is clear. The revarnished stock is very good with some handling marks and an area of chipping near the trigger. Action needs work as the hammer will not hold at the full cock position.
