A) Post-64 Winchester Model 70 Varmint Bolt Action Rifle with Scope
Manufactured in 1965. Varmint barrel tapped for front and rear sight mounting. Equipped with a Micro-Trac scope with Redfield scope mount. Jeweled bolt and high comb checkered pistol grip stock with "W" marked grip cap, cheekpiece and checkered plastic buttplate with leather sling.
Very fine. The rifle retains 97% plus original blue finish showing some minor thinning on the floor plate and bolt handle and some minor handling marks on the floor plate. The stock is revarnished with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
B) Winchester Model 70 XTR Sporter Magnum Bolt Action Rifle with Scope and Box
Hooded front sight, receiver drilled and tapped for sight mounts, and fitted with a Bushnell Banner scope on a Redfield base. Jewelled bolt, hinged floor plate, and serrated trigger. One-piece checkered pistol grip stock with black plastic grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and Winchester recoil pad. Complete with leather sling and original box numbered to gun.
Excellent. Rifle retains 99% of the original finish with only slight wear showing on the scope the rail, and minimal handling marks along the stock. Box is excellent with slight staining at one end.
