This pistol is marked with the large German Navy eagle with swastika over "M" on right side of the frame and the property number "N/5380" appears on the front strap. The pistol is identified as a Variation 3 and is listed by serial number on page 172 of "Axis Pistols" volume II by Jan Still. Left side of slide has the serial number and "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N." and a crown/U proof behind the rear sight and "Cal. 7,65 D.R.P.u.A.P." on the right side of slide. The side plate has the Mauser logo and the partial serial number (759) is marked on rear of frame and bottom of side plate. Checkered one-piece grip and Mauser logo marked magazine. With a commercial leather holster.
Very fine. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish showing some minor thinning and some minor wedge wear. There is some scattered minor pitting. The grip is fine with some minor handing marks and some worn checkering with a minor chip missing on the rear at the top. Holster is fine with some minor handling marks and flex wear.
