There are no makers markings or visible proofmarks. Possibly French in origin, the pistols feature floral engraved locks, forward lower tang and hammer sides. Damascus pattern barrels with dovetailed bead front and fixed notch rear sights. Folding trigger, wedge secured stock/grip with an iron buttcap with the same engraving pattern. Complete in a wooden case with inscribed initial shield, fitted velvet lining, with wooden handled screwdriver, single conical bullet mold, powder flask, lead bullets and key.

Very fine. The barrels retain 90% original brown finish with almost all of the Damascus pattern remaining. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina. The hammers do not hold a cock position, the trigger drops properly when either hammer is cocked. There are two sears in the case and appear to be left and right. The grip/stock is fine with scattered minor dents and dings. The engraving remains crisp and clear. The case is good on the outside with scratches and scuffs. The lining is faded and worn, with some tears in the lining on the lid, and overall the lining is soiled. The accessories are all good.
