Produced in 1939. Fixed sights, with the standard one block, two line address and patent markings on the left side and "COLT SUPER .38/ AUTOMATIC" on the right next to the Rampant Colt. The left side of the trigger guard is marked "V/ VP" and the right is marked "77", with the serial number on the right side of the frame and a "C" on top next to the disconnector hole. Pistol is equipped with a checkered milled short trigger, wide hammer, long grip safety, two-tone magazine and arched checkered mainspring housing. Checkered walnut grips.

Excellent plus, with 99% plus bright original blue finish, showing mild handling marks overall. Grips are also excellent plus, with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
