Theodore and Simon Willerding were gunmakers in Evansville, Indiana, c. 1866-1889. The barrel is marked "WILLERDING/EVANSVILLE IND," and the lock plate is marked "JOHN GOLCHER".
Very good with dark patina, flash pitting at the breech, aged patina, and mild wear. The refinished stock has is very good and has minor dents and dings. The lock does not appear to have a half cock but mechanically functions.
