800 total manufactured for the Georgia State Highway Patrol. The 40 overrun variants did not feature commemorative markings or the Georgia State seal on the sideplate and had mixed features of standard hammer/triggers, and wide hammer/triggers, as noted in the "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson" 4th edition by Jim Supica and Richard Nahas. With a generic hard case.

Very fine overall with original finish, minor handling marks and edge wear, light cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent.
