The top of the receiver ring is marked "ORIGINAL / HAENEL- LORENZ" over the Haenel arrow logo and the left side is marked with an "eagle/N" proof. Fixed ramp inverted "v" front sight and tangent rear sight graduated 100, 200 and 300 on the blade and graduated from 4 to 20 (even numbers) on each side of the barrel below the rear sight. Straight bolt handle, bayonet lug and mounted with a full walnut pistol grip stock with matching handguard, flat steel buttplate, sling swivel base on the buttstock and sling swivel on the rear barrel band.
Excellent. The rifle retains 97% plus original finish beginning to thin on the muzzle end of the barrel and on the bolt knob. The wood is very fine with scattered minor dings, dents and scratches. The markings are highlighted in white and remain sharp. The action is excellent.
