Manufactured in 1903. Raised combination Beech sight (partially broken), rear sight block and a Lyman receiver sight. The receiver has contoured sides and is marked with the standard two line address/patent marking. Barrel has the two line nickel steel marking. Smooth straight grip stock with ebony forend insert and steel crescent buttplate.
Very good. The barrel retains approximately 70% faded original blue finish with the beginnings of a brown patina and some minor spotting of brown patina. The buttplate has a smooth gray patina. The rest of the metal surfaces retain approximately 65% of the bright blue mixed with smooth gray patina. There is a filled repair on the wrist, otherwise the refinished wood has some minor dings and scratches and some light dents.
