Description:
This rare first model has the screw on pommel that has the flame shape with the non-engraved blade. The 9 1/2 inch blade has a single small "m/anchor" proof with double fullers and an unetched blade. Gilded brass furniture. Dual quillion cross guard with anchor designs and sheath catch, wire wrapped brown horn grip. It has the engraved design "lightning bolt" pattern brass scabbard with decorated naval knot suspension bands in the middle.
Rating Definition:
Excellent overall with some minor spotting on the blade. Horn grip has minor chipping.
