Manufactured in 1912. Pinned blade front sight and sporting leaf sight with full length magazine tube and a saddle ring and staple on the left side. Standard two line New Haven address/patent marking followed by "25-20 W.C.F." and single Winchester proofs on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang is stamped with the three line model/trademark information. The lever is casehardened and the remaining parts are blue. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.
Fine. The barrel and magazine retain approximately 95-97% original blue finish, thinning slightly on the magazine. The receiver retains approximately 20% original finish mainly in protected areas with the balance having a smooth mottled patina. The lever retains approximately half of the bright vivid original case colors. The buttplate has a smooth plum blue patina with a few minor scratches. The wood is fine with several minor small pressure dents and dings on the forearm and the stock shows signs of light sanding, a few minor dents on the left side wrist and a dull finish on the right side. The markings remain crisp and clear.
