Description:One of only three guns of this style produced by the Custom Shop, originally meant to be prizes at the 1985 WACA convention before plans to host the event at the U.S. Repeating Arms Co. factory fell through. Blade front sight and folding elevator rear sight on barrel with standard markings and proofs. Side ejecting, saddle ring action, drilled and tapped for mounting on the top. Smooth fancy walnut straight grip stock with sling eyes, 1/2 length magazine, and smooth steel buttplate. In a canvas covered Huey oak and leather case with French-fitted ultra-suede compartments for each rifle, with letter from B.W. Pardee, manager of the U.S. Repeating Arms Custom Shop, detailing the specifications and history of these carbines. Formally of the Peter and Patty Murray collection.
