Manufactured c. 1949-1952 in Belgium on contract for Egypt, this rifle bears the Egyptian crest on top of the receiver ring. The rifle also has the standard battle sights and bayonet lug. It is mounted with a walnut pistol grip stock with brass stock disk and a brass buttplate. Non-matching Egyptian Arabic serial numbers visible on the receiver and top cover. Includes a bayonet with metal scabbard, and an oiler inside the butt compartment.
Fine, retains 95% refinished blue finish with a few patches of minor pitting visible underneath the finish. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled, with a few spliced repaired cracks visible on top of the handguard, and some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet and scabbard are fine.
