Manufactured late World War II in 1945 by Berlin-Lubecker on a rough forged receiver with "K 43" model designation and "qve 45" manufacturer code and date markings on the left. Blade front sight and military tangent rear sight graduated from 1-12. Both the receiver and bolt carrier are forged and machined, with a catch on the right side of the bolt carrier with hollow cocking knob. Smooth pistol grip laminated stock with a few "eagle/swastika/WaA214" Waffenamt stamps, and a cupped steel trapdoor buttplate. Of interesting note, the receiver of this rifle is numbered "3955f", and the bolt carrier, bolt and stock are all numbered one away with "3954f" as a likely factory error. Fitted with an "aye" code "K43" marked magazine with "eagle/WaA843" Waffenamt stamp. Includes a leather sling.
Very fine, retains 80% plus original combination late war blue/phosphate finish with scattered areas of spotting/freckling and some typical late war rough cast areas. Magazine retains 30% original black painted finish. Stock is also very fine, with some light handling marks and legible stamps. Mechanically excellent.
