Colt Model 1903 Pocket Automatic Pistol manufactured in 1934. The pistol has the Colt high polish commercial blue finish and is fitted with Checkered walnut grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions set in the top. The "two tone" blue magazine is marked: "CAL.32/COLT" on the floor plate. The serial number is located on the left side of the frame, and the left side of the trigger guard is stamped with the numeral "1" above the "VP/Triangle" Colt proof mark. The left side of the slide is marked with Colt's Hartford Address and 1897 and 1903 patent dates in two lines followed by the Rampant Colt behind the slide serrations. The right side of the slide is marked: "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" in two lines below the ejection port. The royal blue Colt carton has the blue and white label on one end, the standard markings on the interior lid and bottom, and the serial number on the underside. The carton contains the original wrapping paper.
Excellent plus, with 99% of the bright blue original finish. There are a few light handling marks and some spotting on the otherwise pristine original blue finish. The grips are also excellent plus with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine and has some edge wear on the exterior, with mild wear on the inside from the gun.
