Manufactured in China in the 20th century, one of a number of handguns made in small shops to fill the large demand for weapons created by the many political conflicts of the time. This particular pistol draws very heavy inspiration from the Colt/Browning Model 1903/1908 Pocket Hammerless semi-automatic pistol. Blade front and notch rear sights, unmarked except for a set of letters and numbers on the left side of the frame, and fitted with a set of serrated and checkered grip panels. A brown leather holster is included.
Good, with a mixed gray patina overall, brown spotting, a few traces of blue around the protected areas, and mild handling marks. The front sight has been filed down, and the rear sight channel heavily staked. The grips are good, with some scuffs and dings. The holster is fair as modified, originally made for a larger pistol and cut down, with a number of scuffs and cracks. The firing pin is stuck full forward and the slide hangs up, otherwise mechanically functions with assistance.
