A semi-automatic only commercial export model of the Swiss SG-510-4 service rifle, the AMT (American Match Target) was imported in very limited numbers. Originally designed for the harsh conditions of military use in the Swiss Alps, this rifle was also adopted by nations such as Bolivia and Chile as a designated marksman rifle. Fitted with a birdcage flash hider, winged post front and 600-meter tangent peep rear sight, and swiveling bipod mounted at the front of the ventilated handguard. The receiver is equipped with a "T" shaped charging handle and "S/1" marked two-position selector. Equipped with a ribbed plastic pistol grip, walnut forearm and buttstock, and a ribbed steel buttplate. Magazine absent.
Excellent overall, retaining 99% original black finish with limited handling marks, a safety drag line, and some light surface marks on the furniture. Mechanically excellent.
