Description:
"FKD ARSENAL/USA" marked on the top of the frame and British proofs are also on the frame. The included factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber and states the original barrel length is 6" and the finish was blue. The letter also states that the revolver was sold to Winchester Repeating Arms Company in New Haven but shipped to the British Purchasing Commission in New York on June 18, 1940.
