A) German Drilling with Scope
Rifle barrel sleeved to .22 Hornet. With a Weaver K2.5-1 scope, a takedown case, and a fabric sling.
Very good, refinished with some thinning, greyed action, minor spotting, some light dings and scratches in the wood, and crisp checkering. Mechanically functions fine. Scope optics clear. Case is very good.
B) Simson & Co. Cape Gun
German proof marks dated 1931. Rifle barrel chambered for a cartridge marked as 7.2x39 (.300 Sherwood per the consignor). With a wooden takedown case, fabric sling, and .300 Sherwood loading dies. Chamber measured 2 1/2" with extractor, choke measured full, and 14" LOP.
Very good, refinished with handling evidence and some spotting. There is a large chip from the forend, some dings and scratches, and smoothed checkering. The rifle trigger is repaired; otherwise, mechanically excellent.
