Fine with much of the original finish, smooth brown patina on the balance, a few areas of light surface freckling, and some filing evidence visible in the feed section of the breech. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled, with a modified wrist section, repaired spliced section at the toe, scattered dents and scratches, a patch of scuffs on top of the handguard, with visible cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
