"1815" dated lock, "1816" dated buttplate, "P/eagle head/V" proofs at the left of the breech and "US" on top of the breech.
Rating Definition:
Fair as refinished, with gray and brown patina, absent separated rear section of the barrel tang, and scattered pitting and corrosion. Stock is good as sanded and re-oiled, with various repaired cracks and filled in sections, and scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically fine.
