The included factory letter states the gun was made for stock and inspected February 4, 1949, and left the factory as a 12 gauge with 30" barrels, full/full chokes, single trigger, ejectors, non-automatic safety, and pistol grip stock with Winchester pad. The gun was returned on April 24, 1950, and fitted with an extra set of 26" barrels choked WS-1/WS-1. The gun was subsequently upgraded to current configuration with fine scroll engraving. Chambers marked 2 3/4" with ejectors, chokes marked full/full, and 14 1/16" LOP.
Very fine as upgraded/refinished with minor handling evidence and sharp recut checkering. Mechanically excellent. Extra barrels also very fine.
