Manufactured by IMI and imported by Action Arms as a semi-automatic carbine, then converted by S.W. Daniel into an open bolt submachine gun. Adjustable post front and two-leaf peep rear sights, with a non-ratcheting top cover, "A F S" marked trigger housing, ribbed forearm and grip panels, and an underfolding buttstock. Internally, the restrictor block and breech ring are untouched, with a shortened carbine profile barrel and a side slot cut into the unmarked bolt. The SWD marking is on the underside of the receiver around the bayonet lug. Included with the lot is an Uzi-branded soft case, matching numbered commercial box, three extra magazines, clip guide, sight adjustment tool, full length carbine barrel and canvas sling.
Excellent as upgraded, with mild wear and handling marks overall. The furniture is also excellent, and the accessories very good. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C.
