Manufactured 1900, left of lower tang marked "9804 CF", butt of stock under buttplate marked "9802" (likely a factory error). Included factory letter confirms the configuration including the special order No. 2 weight, 24 inch, half octagon barrel and plain pistol grip stock, as well as receipt at the warehouse on 2 April 1900 and shipment on 11 April 1900.
Rating Definition:
Very good, with much of the original finish, some light high spot wear, and some scattered minor handling marks/scuffs on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
