With "dkk/44" marked leather flap holster, extra magazine, and an August 1944 dated authorization from the 737th Bombardment Squadron (Heavy) identifying this pistol by serial as the authorized war trophy of a 1st Lieutenant Robert A. Otten, with a note that it is "not in operational condition". Research identifies Otten as a bombardier with the 737th, which saw action in Italy, Southern France and Austria, earning two Distinguished Unit Citations.
Very good overall as repaired/refinished, with areas of gray patina and light handling marks. The holster is good, with mild scuffing. Mechanically very good.
